This is the shirt I was supposed to wear on Halloween... but baby girl came early!
Hello, bright eyes!
WEEK TWO

Be still, my heart
WEEK FOUR
First Thanksgiving
One month pictures
Selah was baptized by Grandpa Jim on the day she turned one month old
At one month.....
Weight: Selah was a slow starter, just like our other kids. Weight was up and down over the first 10 days, so we were intermittently needing to pump/give bottles. Lowest weight was 5 lbs, 15 oz; but since her two-week appointment, we've been gaining steadily. She was 6 lbs, 6 oz at that visit, and 7 lbs, 10 oz at 4 weeks.
Length: 17.5" at birth, 19" at 2 week appointment (6th percentile).
Moods: Starting to have more alert times, usually one stretch in the morning and one in the evening. If she cries, it is hunger or gas - she gets so upset over her burps and toots. :-)
Favorite foods: Milk!
Favorite toy: She will spend time on her playmat, and seems to like looking at the sea creatures.
Favorite hobby: Staring at lights, pulling mommy's hair, being held at all times
Playtime: If she is in the swing (which she rarely tolerates), brother and sister present her with stuffed toys and pictures that Chloe colored
Sleep: Really no pattern here. She wakes about 3 times per night to feed (often 11, 2, and 4:30?). Sometimes a fourth waking as well. The short stretches of sleep are hard for me, but she eats on only one side and goes back down easily, so I'm rarely up for more than 30 minutes. Her naps are still irregular too, but tend to be cat naps in the morning and at least one long nap in the afternoon (probably because we go somewhere, and she falls asleep in her carseat.....she loves sleeping there).
Milestones: We are anxiously awaiting purposeful smiles :-)
