Moods: Happy guy, even when put through the trials of traveling. We love his coy interactions, when he pretends to be shy and then gives a huge smile. :-)
Favorite foods: Anything?? He can't get enough fruit....we have to hide it from him to get him to eat other foods. Cheese sticks are always a big hit. He eats everything we eat (except nuts), and eats more than his sister most meals. Due to issues with pumping, supply, and biting (ouch!), we gave up breastfeeding sometime in the 9th month.
Teeth: 2 on bottom, 2.5 on top (a central incisor is trying to come in). On top, his lateral incisors came in first....Dracula baby!
Favorite toy: He likes the alphabet train, octopus, and Leap Frog picnic basket.
Favorite hobby: Opening and closing things (cabinet doors, picnic basket, etc). Interrupting Chloe's projects.
Playtime: Hangin' in the living room or play room with Chloe and mommy. I prefer to be indoors because at the park, he's always trying to eat wood chips!
Sleep: Still 11 hours at night and two naps (total about 3.5 hours per day) - we are so appreciating this stage! He was hard to put down while on vacation (unusual for him), but actually didn't go back to night wakings - thank goodness!
Milestones:
-Social: No stranger anxiety yet. Loves to people watch. Very interested in his sister.
-Language: I think 'dada' is becoming purposeful. Blows raspberries. Loves to talk back and forth as if in conversation - he has the best vocal inflection and facial expressions, like he's really talking!
-Gross motor: Cruising all over, and will walk holding onto one or two adult hands. Holds his own bottle/sippy cup.
-Fine motor: Just learned to use the snack cup and get food out. Feeds himself like a champ.
