Chunky Monkey is two months old



Time flies when you're chasing two little ones!  Maternity leave is over and I go back to work on Friday.  Boo :-(

I think I'm going to have to stop calling this one 'munchkin'.....his current weight is close to Chloe's four-month weight. :-)

Weight: 11 lbs, 5 oz (22nd percentile)

Length: 22.25" (14th percentile)

Moods: He's a happy little guy.  He cries over the basics - food, diapers, burps - but otherwise is pretty chill.  He is getting to be more predictable, thank goodness.

Favorite foods: Milk!

Favorite toy: He's starting to like the activity mat with all the toys dangling above

Favorite hobby: Defying mommy and daddy with short naps

Playtime: He likes to be on the floor with his sister

Sleep: He cut back to one feed/night last week! But then he went back to his usual pattern: Down around 8pm, feeds at 1am and 5am.  Darn....I was so hopeful :-)

Milestones: Smiles are finally more regular - at first only Chloe and daddy could get smiles.  Mostly still grunting more than cooing.  He has good head control when upright, but he just acts like a lump during tummy time (which, honestly, we don't do that often....second child and all). :-)

The final blog post for the final baby

Weight:  19 lbs, 13 oz Height: 29" Moods:  Sassy!  She has a lot to say (babbling loudly), and has an opinion now when something is taken away from her. Favorite foods:  She is slowing down as far as amount eaten, but still eats everything.  Teeth:  Only 4!  Two central incisors on bottom, and two LEFT upper incisors - they aren't aligned and it's so funny. :-)  See top picture above. Favorite toy:  She really likes her walker, and her new jack-in-the-box from Auntie Krista. Favorite hobby:  Pulling all of the toys out of the toy box, and gunning for the stairs if someone leaves the gate open. Playtime:  Pulling everything out of the cupboards, cruising along furniture, climbing stairs, ruining the big kids' toys, and...finally interested in books! Selah is 2 months old

Weight: 9 lbs, 9 oz (14th percentile) Length: 22" (36th percentile) Moods: She's most happy in the morning.  If we don't get a good morning nap, she tends to be fussy unless held. Favorite foods: Milk! Favorite toy: She likes her activity mat, and will hold the octopus sometimes. Favorite hobby: Defying mommy and daddy with short naps. Playtime: Morning mat time.  Baths are always a hit! Sleep: Around 6 weeks, she began eating at about 2 and 5am.  Around 8 weeks, she cut back to around 3-4 am, then up for the day around 6:30/7.  She's been a bit off since traveling this weekend....but hopefully we get that pattern back!  She has one long mid-day nap, but other naps are irregular.  Milestones: Smiles!  A rare 'coo', which we love to hear.  Good head control. She was born on her great-grandpa Ray's birthday, and turned two months on her great-grandpa Paul's birthday.  My loves     ...
