1 month already!

How is this little boy one month old already?!?!  (Actually, 5 weeks today....)

Here are some pictures from his first month....

First trip to the zoo - 11 days old

The Watkins came to visit during C's first week home.....Here is little Lorelei

And big sister Ellory, the contortionist :-)

Cameron's first Halloween - we went trick-or-treating with Brooke & Jeff (Hayden was also Superman) :-)

Halloween jammies

Coming home from the hospital (sorry, a bit out of order)

Daddy was back to work, so Grandpa helped get us home from the NICU

First bath at home!

Grandma came back for a visit once C was home, because there just wasn't enough snuggling in the NICU

Some one-month pictures of our little man!

Weight: He had a weight check 3 days after leaving the NICU, and was losing weight. :-(  So we increased the feeds and  he gained 5 ounces in 3 days - you go, Cameron!  His weight at that two-week visit was 6 lbs, 8oz (3rd percentile).  We did an 'unofficial' weight on our scale when he turned one month, and it said 9 lbs!  Don't think this is entirely accurate- but baby boy sure is growing!  Still in newborn clothes and diapers though. :-)

Length: 19.5" at birth, 20" at 2 week appointment (25th percentile).

Moods: Starting to have more alert times.  He is so calm and content - I can count on one hand the number of times he has cried over something other than hunger.  Even when hungry, he will stop crying when I pick him up, and wait patiently until we start feeding.  Such a good boy!

Favorite foods: Milk! Though Chloe has shown him some of her favorite foods (holding them very close to his face, but not putting anything in his mouth yet, thank goodness.....)

Favorite toy: He likes to sit in the vibrating infant chair.  He also likes anything that Chloe likes, according to her....she shows him a toy or sings him a song and says 'I think he likes it!'

Favorite hobby: Grunting loudly while pretending to sleep, from about 4:30AM on...just loud enough to keep mommy and daddy up :-)

Playtime: He is calm and awake after his morning feed....he will lay and on the floor and Chloe will play with him.  It's really very sweet. :-)

Sleep:  He is usually easy to put down, but still feeds an average of twice per night (around midnight and 3?  We aren't very scheduled yet...) After the last feed, he can be restless, making it hard for me to go back to sleep.  Most days, we achieve the holy grail of some overlapping naptime with the two kiddos - hallelujah!

Milestones: We are anxiously awaiting purposeful smiles :-)
