8 months old!!!

Weight: 16 pounds, per the scale at home

Length: No idea :-)

Moods: Happy!  I love her greetings when you come in the door!

Favorite foods:  She's become very good at self feeding, so we're trying lots of new things - egg yolk, cottage cheese, cheese cubes, berries, cooked carrots and peas (peas are always a hit!), tiny pieces of chicken, edamame, pancakes, and more!  We've finally found a juice she likes too - pear. :-)

Teeth:  Two lower central incisors.

Favorite toy:  She likes the walk-around table we borrowed from the Turners, and her Leap Frog musical table.

Favorite hobby: Skype with grandparents, so she can push all the keys and make our computer do things we didn't know it could do. :-)

Playtime: Mostly consists of floor time where she chases anything that can roll/move, pulls to stand on anything 12-24" tall, and climbs all over mommy/daddy.  She loves it when we sing to her.

Sleep: One week ago, we had to wean from the night feeds because she was regressing back to two feeds per night!  Just a habit, so we eliminated those.  There has been some crying as she does not find pats on the bottom nearly as comforting as a bottle, but we're getting there - she's slept through the night twice in the past 3 nights!

Milestones:
-Social: She is still a little social butterfly - loves people watching.  But the tiniest stranger anxiety is coming out - when people lean in toward her, she reserves her smiles sometimes.  She will crawl after us when we leave the nursery for a moment - so cute to see her head peek around the corner!
-Language: She is really quiet - not too many more syllables.
-Gross motor:  In the six weeks since the last post, she has really taken off!  She became a more stable sitter, and within 2 weeks of that was crawling.  In the last week, she has now been pulling to stand - look out, world!
-Fine motor: She is feeding herself all sorts of foods - she has a good precursor to a pincer grasp.  She loves to turn the pages of her books.  She's very quick to snatch mommy's glasses off her face. :-)
