One month already!
Weight: 7 lbs, 7 oz at her weight check one week ago.....she had gained 13 oz in 11 days. You go, girl!
Length: 21.5" at birth....not sure if this has changed. She has stretched out from her 'newborn curl' and looks so long!
Moods: She still sleeps a lot but is having more awake/alert time. She is usually very calm; content to just stare at your face. She gets distressed over poops and toots....when there is something brewing, that's when she's most fussy. :-)
Favorite foods: Milk! She only feeds 7 times per day but she can really get some milk! At one visit with the lactation consultant, she was weighed before and after feeding on one side - and she gained 3oz! On a frustrating note, I'm trying to pump once each morning to save milk for my return to work - and she always wakes up and wants to eat just as I finish!!
Favorite toy: She likes to sit in the vibrating infant chair. She has also started taking a pacifier....it looks so big against her tiny face!
Favorite hobby: Sleeping
Playtime: She kindly listens while we babble at and read to her. She tolerates tummy time well.
Sleep: She has always known nighttime from daytime. She started out sleeping well - I had to wake her every 4 hours for nighttime feeds at first. Now that she's gaining weight, I've been letting her sleep longer at night. She usually eats at 8pm then sleeps til 2am; then down again til 6am. We could get up then, but mommy isn't a morning person - so we eat and go back to bed until 9am. :-) Once, she teased us and went 8 hours between nighttime feeds! Can't wait til that's the norm. :-)
Milestones: She has really good neck strength for her age. No smiles yet - we get excited about sleep and gas smiles though. :-)
**Thanks to Kristen T for this blog idea** :-)

Maybe I'm prejudice but especially love the picture of her with her monkey! Helps me visualize her size.! Love her birth announcement photos..so darling. Enjoy the days off as a family. Special hugs to Chloe from her G-auntie.
