A Trip Home......
Last weekend, I went home for 4 days. I spent the first day in Omaha with friends. After lunch with Tiffy (yum - Wheatfields!), I spent the rest of the day with the Poutres. Happily, it was Cole's 4th birthday the day before.
Cole with his gifts.....
The large, flat gift unfolded to become this pirate ship - perfect for brotherly adventures. It is also colorable - what fun!
A closer look at Aaarr-gyle, the pirate sock puppet. Get it? Argyle? :-)
Other exciting gifts included Cole's first bike - here he is on his first ride.
Singing happy birthday - those individual cakes are all different parts of a train.
With Easton, the next morning......
There are, sadly, few pictures from the rest of the weekend. I was under the weather with some sort of 24-hour flu, but did feel well enough Friday and Sunday to see Grandma, Gary and Dede, and cousin Sarah. Mom and I also worked on the baby registry, and she took care of me when I got sick - thanks, Mom!
I made it to one of the events for my 10 year high school reunion on Saturday night; it was good to see old friends!
Then it was time to head back to the airport - much too soon (except that hubby was back home). Here's Lucy, on her perch during the drive to Omaha. :-)
