Visitors!!

At the end of August, our good friends Rachael and Blake visited from Colorado, where Rachael is doing her residency. It was so good to see them! Unfortunately, we have no pictures to record their visit. :-( We spent our time doing some of the best things in life - cooking with friends, drinking wine, and sleeping in. :-) It was a nice, relaxing visit.



In mid-September, my parents and sissy Dana came for a visit. Yay! We grilled out on Friday and then introduced them to Cook Out milkshakes. :-)

On Saturday, the ladies went on a bit of a shopping spree while our hard-working boys added some much needed insulation to the attic. We thanked them with Dewey's pink lemonade cake and dinner at Fourth St Filling Station.

On Sunday, we went to Tanglewood Park after church. We saw ducks (cute!) and water snakes (ewww!) at the lake.

We also enjoyed the rose garden..........


And then...........where else but Lazy 5 Ranch? Haha! :-) Now all of the fam has been there....

About a week ago, sissy Anna came to visit also! She attended a conference in Virginia and then drove to see us for the weekend.....

On Saturday, we went to a street festival in Greensboro, then hit up the Farmer's Market.

We bought some yummy produce and fudge, and these gorgeous flowers!

On Saturday night, we went to an internal medicine party. Sissy was very kind to put up with all our medicine talk! :-)
