Bahamas, Here We Come!

We had a great time on the Carnival Fascination

First stop: Half Moon Cay, a private island owned by Carnival
We went swimming with stingrays here!
(sorry - the underwater camera had some drops on the lens!)


But the camera did work under water! :-)

Next stop: Atlantis waterpark in Nassau


It rained HARD for a few hours that morning...

So we spent some time indoors at the aquariums, where we saw this giant ray!

But it turned into a gorgeous day, and we enjoyed the water slides all afternoon!

One slide took us through the tube that runs through this shark tank!

Baby hammerhead shark, about 1 foot long....

....grows into these giant 8' adults! One of the coolest animals we saw.

Pulling the blocks down Eating the blocks Weight: 17 pounds Moods:  Happy except for meal time....lots of grunting and growling that is hard to interpret (Are you done?  Wanting more?  Wanting to feed yourself???) The final blog post for the final baby

Weight:  19 lbs, 13 oz Height: 29" Moods:  Sassy!  She has a lot to say (babbling loudly), and has an opinion now when something is taken away from her. Favorite foods:  She is slowing down as far as amount eaten, but still eats everything.  Teeth:  Only 4!  Two central incisors on bottom, and two LEFT upper incisors - they aren't aligned and it's so funny. :-)  See top picture above. Favorite toy:  She really likes her walker, and her new jack-in-the-box from Auntie Krista. Favorite hobby:  Pulling all of the toys out of the toy box, and gunning for the stairs if someone leaves the gate open. Playtime:  Pulling everything out of the cupboards, cruising along furniture, climbing stairs, ruining the big kids' toys, and...finally interested in books! Sleep:  Down around 7:15, up around 5:30 (!!).  Two naps/day, two hours each. Milestones:  -Social:  Laughs when others do.  Mimi...

The Reason I Never Post........ :-)

Because I'm always here (and so is Mark!) :-) I figured we could at least show you the place that is consuming all of our time right now. Sorry if we take awhile to return your calls or emails....things have really picked up around here! But we're learning a lot, and have great teachers most of the time - it's what we're here for!
